Social Media Short Video

During my summer internship at Luna Partners, I was tasked with producing a short promotional video for their Facebook page. The goal of the video was to emphasize the importance of Google My Business for local businesses while showcasing Luna Partners' expertise in setting up and optimizing this essential tool.

 

Leveraging my video production skills, I began by outlining a clear narrative structure for the video. My approach was to create an engaging and informative piece that would resonate with the target audience—business owners looking to enhance their digital presence. I utilized storyboarding to visually map out the scenes, ensuring the content flowed smoothly and conveyed the key message effectively.

 

Once the storyboard was finalized, I used my proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects to bring the video to life. I incorporated motion graphics to highlight statistics and key benefits of using Google My Business, making the video not only informative but visually compelling as well. Through strategic use of text overlays and animations, I was able to break down complex information into digestible segments that were easy for viewers to understand.

 

Additionally, I integrated audio design to enhance the overall impact of the video, choosing background music that complemented the tone and message without overpowering the content. My goal was to maintain a professional yet approachable feel, in line with Luna Partners' brand image.

 

To ensure the video had a lasting impression, I focused on optimizing it for social media platforms. Understanding the nuances of social media engagement, I designed the video to be short and concise, ensuring it could capture viewers' attention quickly in a busy Facebook feed. I also formatted the video for optimal viewing on mobile devices, where a significant portion of the audience would be watching.

 

Throughout the process, I collaborated closely with the marketing team at Luna Partners to align the video's message with the company's overall branding strategy. I also provided recommendations on how to best utilize the video for their broader digital marketing efforts, including the possibility of repurposing it for other platforms such as Instagram and LinkedIn.

 

The final video successfully met the objectives, demonstrating Luna Partners' expertise in Google My Business development and serving as an effective piece of content for their social media marketing. This project not only allowed me to apply my video editing and creative design skills but also deepened my understanding of digital marketing strategies and how to effectively communicate value to potential clients through visual media.
