Literature review abstract
Being able to explore and analyse human’s origins with a scientific proof fully remodels the concept of ethnicity and race. The analysis of DNA heritage as a social knowledge can lead to a new concept of race and identity. This study and project are looking at how to realise an easily accessible way for individuals to have a 360° experience of their DNA heritage test results. All science involves storytelling in some way, in this case DNA heritage blends into personal identity and family narratives. The combination of science, technology and sociology, leads this project to the design of a personal user experience with the use of augmented reality (AR).
