ARTE AL FEMMINILE - FEMALE ARTS: EXHIBITION IN BOLOGNA

The exhibition at Casa Saraceni in Bologna is a celebration of female artists active in the 20th century around the city of Bologna.

The artists have different styles and approaches to art which makes each and every one of them very unique. 

​

Seeing how the artists interpret different angles of the city indifferent ways was very interesting. Some are dark and mysterious, and others on the shades of red that are so characteristic of the city.

There was also the famous painting of Elisabetta Sirani "Porzia is ferisce alla gamba" which shows Porzia, wife of Bruto who stabs herself on the leg. Bruno is lying to her about his allegations by Cesare and she demonstrates can resist pain.
